Guixun Xu - Ziboyan, Master of Shizhai, Yanlutang, and Ronghongtang. In his early years, he studied with Jinrong Professor Chen Dayu, an educator and respected artist in Chinese painting, calligraphy, and seal carving.  In 1992, Xu studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, under the tutelage of Professor Wang Yong.  

Guixun Xu is currently a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, Executive Dean of the Enlightened Painting Academy of the Democratic Progressive Central Committee, a Director of the Chinese Folk Artists Association, the former Vice Chairman of the Central Government Branch of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a member of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, an Executive Director of the Jiangsu Overseas Friendship Association,member of the Standing Committee of Suzhou CPPCC, Vice President of Suzhou Buddhist Association, Executive Vice President of Suzhou Overseas Friendship Association, Executive Vice President and Art Director of Suzhou Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, and President of Suzhou Contemporary Painting and Calligraphy Art Research Institute.
