Artist Jianwei Wang Joins the Los Angeles Beverly Arts Biennial Art Festival

Jianwei Wang, is a Chinese national first-class artist who was born in 1965. He fell in love with painting at a young age and went on to study at the Department of Fine Arts of Henan University, the Department of Oil Painting of China Academy of Art, and the Advanced Research Class of Fine Arts Education of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. In 2017, he participated in the "Belt and Road" exhibition at the China Academy of Painting in Beijing, and in 2018, he was successfully admitted to the Jia Youfu Studio of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. At the Pyeongchang Olympics in South Korea (2018), he was invited to participate in cultural exchanges with the Chinese delegation and world superstar Jackie Chan. He went to Russia with the Chinese delegation to participate in the China-Russia Cultural Carnival Famous Calligraphy and Painting Works Exchange Exhibition and won the Gold Medal award. Wang is a member of the Chinese Artists Association and member of the Expert Review Committee of the Republic.

Wang's artworks have been exhibited throughout China and won awards at many exhibitions. He has held many solo exhibitions and his artwork has been highly praised by Mr. Fan Di'an, President of the Central Academy of Fine Arts and Chairman of the China Artists Association. He is currently the vice chairman of the Hong Kong Federation of Literary and Art Circles Artists Association, Dean of Songdu Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, and visiting professor and doctoral supervisor at the University of Oxford, UK. He is also a visiting professor of the Chinese Academy of Management Sciences, Tsinghua University, and at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. His works have been published by major art publishing houses, and are collected by international collectors including the Russian Federation Embassy and Consulate.
