Michael Warren and Koa Warren's "A Family Affaire" Art Exhibition at the Ebell of Los Angeles

Los Angeles, California, USA. 26th May, 2022. The art exhibition titled "A Family Affaire" - a father-daughter exhibition by Michael Warren and Koa Warren was held at the Ebell of Los Angeles Art Salon on May 26th, 2022. It was the first art exhibition at the Ebell since the pandemic. The exhibition featured brilliant colors that were vibrant and upbeat, and showed their two distinct styles that were in contemporary abstract style. There was live piano music throughout the evening which added to the ambiance of the evening. Michael displayed his artistic photography that is inspired by nature, and daughter Koa showed her unique style of painting without brushes. Michael is an actor best known for his role in the TV series "Hill Street Blues" as Officer Bobby Hill and UCLA Basketball All American who captained two successive NCAA championships. Koa is fine artist who works in many different media and is known for her unique technique of painting that she developed while teaching children (her secret: water balloons).

Los Angeles Beverly Arts founder, Joey Zhou and the Rotating Chairman of the LABA International Art Festival, Princess Karen Cantrell, attended the exhibition with interviews conducted by producer Jacqueline Lewis. Among those interviewed included Michael Warren, Koa Warren, Stacy Brightman, Executive Director, Ebell of Los Angeles Madelyn Murray, Director of Finance, Ebell of Los Angeles, Donna Russell, Treasurer, Ebell of Los Angeles, and LABA Blue-chip artist Jiannan Huang joined by video conference.

Jiannan Huang has received many honors including being awarded the title of "Earl" by the Indonesian Royal Family and the "Royal Sacred Knight of Constantine" from Italy. In 2020, Mr. Huang was invited by the LABA International Art Festival Organizing Committee to participate in the LABA International Art Festival as a Blue-chip artist. Last year, he was awarded an honorary membership into the Royal Society of St. George (RSSG), California Branch. On March 17th, 2022, the RSSG awarded Mr. Huang the "Master of Arts" Award, and LABA named March 2022 as "Jiannan Huang Month.
